One of our goals at ArtStation is to continue to be the best place for artists to to showcase and discover art. We’re always looking for ways to enhance your experience of fostering connections and being inspired by others in the community, while recognizing the diversity of individual styles. That’s why we’ve recently made changes to the Community wall on the homepage to be more personalized to you.
Better Discoverability Based on Your Preferences
The new Community wall is designed to show you more of the type of artwork and artists you engage with so that you can uncover more of what you like. Unlike the Trending wall which shows you what’s popular across the platform, the Community wall makes recommendations based on your activity. For example, if you like a lot of projects related to character renders, we’ll show you more character artists to discover.
You can influence recommendations on the Community wall by liking more projects or letting us know what you’d like to see less of.
To see less of a certain type of art, hover over a thumbnail on the homepage then click on the three dots on the bottom right corner to select “Show less art like this”.
We’ll continue to fine-tune the experience in coming weeks and appreciate your input as we work on building the best experience.
